Workshop Thought Leader: Anne Jean-Baptiste

Annie Jean-Baptiste, author of “Building for Everyone” and a pioneer in product inclusion and equity, has significantly influenced the tech industry since founding the product inclusion team at Google in 2014. With her expertise, she has led Google’s strategy on building inclusive products and consulted across Alphabet companies, emphasizing underrepresented users’ experiences in product design. Annie currently enhances educational and diversity efforts as an intrapreneur in residence at the University of Pennsylvania and holds positions in various committees, including the IEEE and CTA HEAL Coalition. Recognized for her contributions to diversity and inclusion, she has been honored by the Haitian Roundtable and Face to Face Africa, and featured in major publications for her work. Annie, a University of Pennsylvania alumna passionate about serving underserved communities and promoting diversity at Google, also enjoys supporting Boston sports and bringing her dog Hercules to work.
