Shahira Qudrat is a multifaceted personal and professional development coach, author, and HR Director at the University of Denver, dedicated to empowering multicultural individuals. With over 20 years of experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors, she specializes in organizational change, team development, and strategic partnerships. Shahira’s book, “Authenticity in America: A Memoir of Rebellion and Dual Identities,” addresses the challenges of immigration, feminism, and multiculturalism in the US. A TEDx speaker, she aims to uplift one million multicultural women to achieve significant impacts in their careers and lives. Holding an MBA and an MA in Global Community Engagement, Shahira is an Afghan-American/Muslim-American woman and mother, living in California with her family. Her passion for Zaka stems from her journey of embracing her identity, which transformed her career and personal goals, advocating for the power of heritage and storytelling in building fulfilling lives.
