Communicating Across Cultures, Part 2

Part 2: This two part workshop series will be designed to provide participants with valuable knowledge and skills needed to effectively, respectfully, and inclusively communicate with others across diverse cultural backgrounds. In the increasingly diverse and globalized world that we live in, we will inevitably find ourselves engaged in interactions and relationships with people different from ourselves- both professionally and personally. Because culture influences our perceptions, values, and the ways in which we communicate, misunderstandings and conflict are inevitable in today’s diverse professional contexts. Participants of this workshop will gain valuable knowledge and communication skills that can help elevate intercultural intelligence and encourage culturally responsive and inclusive communication. These skills-based workshops, rooted in Intercultural Communication concepts and theories will help prepare Zaka users to work in and lead diverse organizations.
